With the intension to share with you what is like to be a NerdMuseum; and my journey as Assistance Security at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is like.
I need to first begin with gratitude, to Osvaldo ‘Ozzy’ for choosing me amount other candidates, to Mayra at HR, Brenda, Richard, and Nora for making sure we all get our PR (personal rest) and all other need meet.
I feel so grateful to be working at a museum. Let me see if I can describe the felling for me museums have always been part of my life. My father tock my brother and I, to a small museum I were probably 9 years old, I remember the smell of the place, like old and beautiful books. There was a turtle shell in the star wall to the 2nd floor. I remember touching the little bones from the spine with my left hand.
I feel so ‘agradecido’ to the Museum itself. Did you know that big museum such as the VMFA behave as a living organism. Is like a body full of system and organs working together.
