Being a Neuro-Divergent feels like living in a movie without feeling.
Last night I spoke to my ‘Titi Can’, my aunt, my 2nd mother!
We spoke about life, death, the meaning of life! I am not sure if this is somehow pertinent to this writing, but I want to acknowledge her and remind you about my other Spanish thoughts about Hospice.

L.K.P. Grateful to the life I have lived!
Do you remember the 2019 movie ‘Joker’?
Let’s use this movie to tell you a story.
My brother was or had Anti-Social Disorder or at least this is what we understood for many years. At end of his life it was more than obvious he was schizophrenic. Today and after my recent ASD diagnosis I see the story of my brother through new eyes. Today I have reasons to believe that my brother and father were also autistic.
[Compare to the story of my brother I feel that I am the lucky one…] 😞
To me, my brother was like the character Arthur Fleck in ‘Joker’, a neuro-divergent human being. Trap in a system, full of incongruent rules, medication and their regulations. Unlike Arthur my brother did not choose to fight but to escape!
Choosing not to live… 😔
Is always hard to speak about him, but sometimes -I get it!
Humans brains 🧠 are not built to live with millions of people; do it is very hard. Is closed to nearly impossible for the growth of compassion for people we do not know; specially others in unseen need like depression, bipolar, ASD, ADHD and schizophrenia.
In this faceless and over crowded system someone like me is writing with the hopeless hope of making a difference in someone’s life… maybe your, maybe mine!

Joker is a 2019 American psychological thriller film directed by Todd Phillips from a screenplay he co-wrote with Scott Silver. The film stars Joaquin Phoenix and is loosely based on DC Comics characters, including the Joker.
Arthur Fleck is a professional clown and aspiring stand-up comedian who lives with his mother, Penny, in the crime- and recession-ridden city of Gotham, New York.

Please note and keep this in mind that; Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD and ASD treatments are not friendly to the human being that suffer Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD and/or ASD !
This is important for all of us to fully understand this simple reality. Who need to understand this?
The ones that need aid and the ones in the system who wants to provide it!
-People; communication is the key…!
Please keep in mind that the intention of all this effort is not just for my benefit but to benefit all Neurodivergent Universe, our families and the HR in and around health and mental health but specially the ones in ‘Puerto Rico Rehabilitation Department and their Human Thinkers’.
Most of the people have no idea of how hard life is to a person with learning disability, hypersensitive, problems with their working memory, mood disorder, depression and more.
Life is hard but is harder for us! (This includes spouses, fathers, children, friends and neighbors).

To explain this I am going to use Ritalin since is probably the most well known medication 💊 for helping an ADHD in kids and adults.
At the molecular level, this medication is very similar to what we know as ‘cocaine’. Ritalin is an amphetamine, a stimulant,
-for me this is very interesting because when my brain 🧠 is in it, comes calms, organized and works beautiful.
No wonder so many ADHD males and females end addicted to this…
What is the challenge with all of this?
- 1st earn the trust of the Psychiatry!
Due to practice, common sense and I hope regulations, Psychiatrist are the key Md., to request ADHD medication. Due to decades of over used and much more it could take months before they could be diagnosed and star a ADHD treatment. - Let’s say you finally gain access to medication 💊 once you go to the pharmacy is where the hope turns into anxiety, even anxiety attacks.
Once you finally have the prescription, you HOPE they have it in the pharmacy, due to regulations you have ONLY 24 hours to find the medication that you need …
Why you may ask?
United States Food and Drug Administration or U.S.F.D.A., is the federal agency that do their very best to keep the citizens safe. In the effort to avoid people from misused of this medication or to try to avoid the real possibility of creating addiction, the state has regulations that are NOT necessary ADHD friendly.
Please remember that research is showing that ASD or in the Autistic Spectrum Disorder, have x, y, z, n variations.
What do I mean by this?
Apparently what we understand about the Autistic Spectrum with the current Neuro-Science is that there are no 100% PURE JUST AUTISTIC BRAINS 🧠 .
This spectrum comes in combination with Bipolar disorder, ADHD, Squizofrenia and others.
With this information in mind, tell me how can we expect from an Autistic with Squifofrenia or in the Mood disorder, ADHD or other to help himself?

L.K.P. 🧐🙁🤨 I am not sure how do fell?
…just for you!
Have you paid attention to how much we are like other things. For example your phone when is in the Best and Only Rainforest under USA jurisdiction; ‘El Yunque’, one of the you have to see places when you come to visit or to live to Puerto Rico.
Cellular phones and people have something in common, the need to know where ‘Who I am’ and ‘Where I am, specially in relationship to something else.
If you go to ‘el Yunque’ and you do not Airplane mode or turn it off your phone, it will start to constantly checking for the near by antenna. This endless process will drain your battery in no time.
Well! This is also real for you and for me…
