My brain is a-symmetric (@symtric). To explain this in a very simple way, let’s move away from the belief that a brain 🧠 is like a computer 💻 … and PLEASE let go that idea forever!
Is not real, and is literally hurting humanity.
Brains, your brain and mine are more like a forest 🌳 🦌🌦️⛰️🏕️.
A system of systems, a landscape of multi-living organisms, sometimes competing for resources but mostly and somehow working together.
…but because most of us were born in this type of ‘chicken factory’s homes’, in which we had been so away from the natural ecosystem of a forest.
I believe, will be better if you see the brain as a city.
Cities are like a living organism, a system of systems; where to everything work properly, everything needs to be inter-connected. Buildings, regardless, what are they made for n, y or x; they all need to be interconnected to the city. To keep it simple; streets, water, sewer, are as equally important as the hospital, the Mayor Office, the schools, supermarkets (or food distribution), the Police; that keep the order in order; and everything else need to be interconnected to everything else.
A NeuroDivergent type of brain is like a city that is organized in a different way… obviously the main infrastructure of power, sewer (or filtration), water supply, ect are all in place as everyone else.
…but everything is organize in a different way!
This asymmetry is what makes my brain, NeuroDivergent. My reading or symbol & sound interpretation of my brain 🧠 is on my right side. People with Dyslexia and/or Dyscalculia are also asymmetric.
If you read effortlessly is most likely that your symbol/sound reading recognition is on your left side of your brain where is in most of the people, but not all.
My brain have to do extra-work while I am reading, because and apparently my symbols & sounds are on my right side… on the OTHER hemisphere of my brain. This asymmetry also affects my ability to do my budget, and tracking time.

Keep reading me and stay connected!

One note on the side:
I consider myself lucky, this simple process of decision related to money expenditure we call ‘budgeting’, is an abstract process that for some reason is extremely hard.
Making decisions money related has always been a challenge but ones I had the understanding of my ‘Neuro-Reality’, I became committed to make it happen on my own terms. Still a journey, but everytime I get better and better.
Please remember that NOT every neurodivertgent is able to understand the concept of money, atm’s and credit without aid or help.
In some other opportunity we will be able to speak about the level of condition and how to live with.
